Kyser KG6EG Quick-Change Guitar Capo - Emerald Green

Kyser's Quick-Change Capo is a favourite of acoustic guitar players worldwide. Kyser’s Quick Change Capo is made of strong, light-weight aluminium. The spring-tensioned Quick-Change clamps firmly to hold intonation, but is quickly and easily released and repositioned without disturbing the tuning. You can operate your Quick-Change Capo comfortably with one hand. You’ll find it doesn’t interfere with fingering and the pads won’t mark or react with guitar finishes.

If you already use a capo in your playing, you can see why the Kyser Quick-Change Capo is the performer's choice. Playing with a capo can inspire you to try new patterns and play in different keys than you're used to, whether you play acoustic or electric guitar, ukulele, or even mandolin.

These Kyser Capos for six-string guitars are the ones you see on stages all over the world. In short, they're the Capos the professionals trust for their performances. Seasoned professionals and beginning players alike appreciate how the kyser quick-change helps them transpose their guitar in seconds, with only one hand.

Usage & Care Recommendations

  • Position the Kyser Quick-Change as close as
possible to the fret to be clamped. The Kyser Quick-Change is designed to
eliminate interference with the fretboard playing
hand. To accomplish this, position the Kyser
Quick-Change such that the string spanning
clamping jaws do not protrude past the lower edge of the fretboard.

  • The Kyser Quick-Change should not remain
clamped on the guitar strings when not in use.
Removing the Kyser Quick-Change from the
guitar allows the rubber strip to restore
itself to its original shape.

  • Always unclamp the Kyser Quick-Change to
move it. Do not slide it up and down the fretboard.

  • Periodically, oil the pivot and the spring contact
 points.
